The Fox Note at 518 Water Street in historic downtown Princeton is where jazz lives in central Wisconsin. Ideally situated in Green Lake county we are blessed to be close to so many jazz artists in residence and over the years many national and international headliners have found the Fox Note a surprising oasis of jazz enthusiasm and local talent.

Small club jazz is where it’s at. The Fox Note's 90 seat capacity is ideal for an intimate listening experience. With cabaret seating and a full bar with waitress service, patrons can relax and as Art Blakey would say... "Let music wash away the dust of everyday life". Every seat brings the listener close to the music - and musicians love playing here for that reason. Many players have said that Fox Note audiences are as hip, attentive and enthusiastic as any audience at New York's Village Vanguard, Oakland's Yoshi's or Chicago's Jazz Showcase. Once again we are very excited about presenting live jazz for another year. Our 2008 season will be our fourth full season. Concerts this year - with the exception of a few Friday shows - will be every Saturday all summer long starting on May 24th and concluding on Aug 29th, and our Candlelit Christmas event in December is always a festive affair. Frequently we add special shows at the last minute which makes checking the web site or being on our email list a necessity to keep in the Fox Note loop. Going into our fourth year we are very happy with the gaining level of interest our concerts have generated and especially pleased and humbled by the support from so many dedicated Fox Note Club members and business sponsors.
