Jeanne Woodall puts an elegant face on the picture of straight ahead jazz in Wisconsin. Her classic jazz vocal style shows obvious influences from Ella Fitzgerald to Dakota Staton but with a twist of her own mid -west style.

Rich, smooth and all together beautiful are a few obvious ways to describe Jeanne’s sound. She lovingly tends to Jazz with a sense of style and comprehension like no other.

Well known from Milwaukee to Madison from her gigs at theWyndham Hotel, the Jazz Estate, the Concourse Hotel, Magnus Restaurant and Jazz At Five Concerts, Woodall works at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music teaching a Nightclub Singers class with pianist John Foshager.

Her first CD titled: "It's Never Too Late", was released in 2007.

Jeanne will be accompanied this evening by pianist Barry Velleman, bassist Jim Paolo, drummer Dave Bayles, and Jaime Breiwick on trumpet.
