Wisconsin Area Music Industry award winner for 2006 - Steve Lewandowski has more than 30 years of professional experience in the music business as a guitarist and his playing is characterized by widely diverse styles such as post-bop, funk edged jazz, and blues. He has arranged, composed, and conducted in a variety of popular and jazz bands, and played guitar  as a theater musician, solo, on radio, recordings, and television. Steve has performed with a variety of international and local artists including The Drifters, The Fifth Dimension and Chuck Hedges.

Bassist George Welland is a frequent compatriot with Steve. His acoustic sound is perfect for this kind of trio which also includes vibraphonist Bob Maynard. The combination of Welland’s weighty contra bass, Maynard’s velvet vibes and Lewandowski’s in-the-groove guitar will bring to mind the Red Norvo group - some of whose tunes these gentlemen will perform. A more solid jazz tricotism  there is not. Guaranteed blue.
